GARNIER Skin Active – Yay or Nay ???

As I’ve mentioned quite a bit, I am very passionate about my skin. I try to keep on top of my skin care routine. Once a week I love to relax for 10-15 minutes and apply a face mask. (It’s my mommy time!!) In the past few weeks I’ve stuck to one mask in particular that has given me great results. I have been using other masks but I really adore this mask. Today you really can pay anything for a face mask. Recently I have come across a Givenchy Le Soin Noir Lace Face Mask that costs a whopping $330!! Imagine if you were to apply this every week!! Another favourite of mine is the Casmara face masks. I use this mask to unclog my pores and find them amazing and fun to apply and remove. Continue reading

Seventeen Define & Conquer Contour Kit – Yay or Nay ???

So I was looking for a cheap powder contour that I could have in my handbag for easy touch-up’s throughout the day. I went to my local Boot’s and came across the brand ‘Seventeen’. I knew of this brand but I never really heard anything about it so I decided to pick up some of their products. They have a well-rounded range with lots of products at affordable prices.  Continue reading

Inglot Duraline – Yay or Nay ???

Overview:

Inglot is a great brand and over the past few months I have been collecting lot’s of their products. I like to try out all different brands of make-up and as a store opened in my area last year I can’t help but go in for a browse and come out with some eye shadow. My partner even comes home with a surprise eye shadow sometimes and tells me to add it to my palette…how sweet right? He knows the way to my heart alright!! Anyway, I have this product a couple of months and at first I used it a lot, then it was just left on the shelf but recently I’ve been using it more so I decided now would be a good time to do a review on this product. The Charcoal Epidemic… Yay or Nay ???

Is it just me or has the world gone charcoal crazy??? Charcoal seems to be the new ‘it product’ that you must have. Drugstores and beauty outlets can’t seem to stock enough of these products and now more and more charcoal products are coming to the market. The trend all kicked off when the charcoal peel off masks became popular with many Youtubers recording themselves applying and peeling off the mask. It is claimed that the charcoal acts as a magnet and lifts impurities from the skin hence why when the masks are peeled off why we can see what was in our pores…sort of gross. But are these masks good for our skin or can they be damaging and is there much research to support the use of this ‘it ingredient’?? Continue reading

Kat Von D …V’s… Makeup Revolution

OmgAinsey

So recently there has been some controversy over these make-up palettes. Last week tattoo queen Kat Von D called out Makeup Revolution for creating a product that is the exact same as her latest palette. Even the name of the palette is the same!!! We all love a good dupe as the pricing for some of these stars’ palettes can be quite pricey but a complete copy is a little crazy. The packaging are both black and the ‘dupe’ contains similar colours to Kat’s palette. Is this a step too far? Should companies be allowed to make exact copies?

Silisponge … V … Beauty Blender

I have never really been a fan of the beauty blender. Sure when it first exploded into the make-up industry I had to get one to see what all the hype was about but I was never really impressed. Instead I just turned back to my brushes as they are also way faster at applying foundation and concealer. So in the past couple on months the silisponge has been introduced to the market and I couldn’t wait to try it. With the beauty blender I just felt it was absorbing all my foundation and I was always using way more product when using it but I do agree the finish is quite flawless but time-consuming. So I then decided to put these two products to the test and see how the differences.  Continue reading

In response to this epidemic, we have seen a major increase in the interest and sales relating to health and fitness. Mac’s Waterweight V’s Inglot’s AMC Foundation.

Finding that perfect foundation shade can be tricky. Then you realise if you wear tan, that the foundation is too light so you also must find a darker shade to wear when you are wearing tan. Often once we find that great shade and product we get stuck in a rut of continuously using the same product. This was me, but now I enjoy buying different brands to see how they all differ. I have always used MAC as my ‘good make-up’ foundation and switched from studio fix to pro-long ware and the I tried their Studio Waterweight foundation. I used this for some time and just before Christmas I purchased Inglots AMC cream foundation. My skin is quite good (for now) so I don’t really need a full coverage foundation for my day to day foundation. I usually go for light to medium coverage foundations for day time and then medium to full coverage for occasions and those rare nights out (kids).  Continue reading

DIY Egg White & Lemon Facemask – Yay or Nay ???

I’ve been looking at different natural DIY facemask ideas and came across a natural lemon and egg white facemask. There are loads of different natural DIY facemask recipes online so I wanted to find one that worked and did give me some results. I have tried this mask over the past four weeks so this blog will take you through the steps, the benefits, and my final opinions. There are lots of masks now on the market and the charcoals masks seem to be the most popular now. Some of these masks however do come at a bit of a price so why not raid the kitchen cupboard for a natural option. Continue reading

Growing Your Brows – A Daunting Experience ???

In recent years, it’s all about your brows. There has been a huge surge in brow products with people going as far as tattooing the perfect brows on their face, a process known as embrowdery. Having seen some of these results they are great but they do only last about 18 months and cost a couple of hundred euro. I do think that this is a great breakthrough for people with very fine or no eyebrows. A friend of mine that had lost her eyebrows due to cancer treatment has recently had it done and the confidence it has given her is amazing. No more wondering if it is coming off in the rain or the hassle of applying brows every morning before she leaves the house. Instead of opting for this treatment or the HD brow treatment, I am going this journey alone, cold turkey!!!  Continue reading

Inglot AMC Gel Liner – Yay or Nay ???

I’ve had to take a little break from my Blogging and Vlogging as I am currently completing two degrees as well as being a full-time mum and looking after my household. This is my release as I love doing it but with so much work piling up I had no choice but to take a break. I’m glad now I am back on top of things and able to come back and do my daily blogs. So today I am going to tell you all about Ingot’s gel liners. I have been using this liner on and off for the past two months so I could really test it so here are my thoughts: Continue reading
